Pack a Go-Bag
Face masks or coverings
3-day supply of nonperishable food
3 gallons of water per person
Change of clothing
Flashlight
Sanitation supplies
Eyeglasses and/or contacts
Copies of important documents (passports, birth certificates, etc.)
First aid kit
Pet food and water
Credit cards, cash, keys
Wildfire Smoke & Health
Smoke is an air pollutant. Use common sense to protect your health.
Follow these steps to protect yourself from smoke.
Limit time outdoors and avoid outdoor exercise.
If extra careful if you have heart or lung conditions.
Call your doctor if you have coughing, wheezing, chest pain or nausea.
Stay hydrated & get enough sleep.
Keep windows closed, unless it is very hot.
Run AC with fresh air intake closed & the filter clean.
Turn off your whole house fan.
Avoid skin contact with ash.
Don’t stir up ash.

DON’T DRIVE
Avoid driving in areas that are affected by wildfire to keep roadways clear for emergency crews and other authorities, and to keep yourself safe from wildfire.
IF TRAPPED
Call 9-1-1 if you are trapped. Give your location and turn on any available light to signal your location.
LIMIT SMOKE INHALATION
Wear an N95 mask, if possible, to reduce smoke inhalation. Stay inside if not ordered to evacuate to avoid exposure to smoke.
